This last couple of months I began working on a brand new studio recording (3 Song EP) that will be completed this year (2012 God willing). It will be titled “Adore.” I have always loved that word. It has also become significant to me in relation to God the last few years. A personal revival perhaps.

It has been about 7 years since the release of my first studio album, “You Have Been Faithful.” You can download that entire album for free (or you can leave a tip) at http://noisetrade.com/daviddelgado.

The songs on this album are all songs written while I have been the Worship Pastor at Christ Community Church in Ardmore, OK and will include “Rock of My Salvation,” “Adore,” and an updated version of the Hymn, “Be Thou My Vision” with an Additional Chorus written by Artie Farve, Janie Herriott and I.

Guitars and Bass on this album will be recorded in Simi Valley, California at the studio of Lee Krabbe (https://www.facebook.com/LeeKrabbeAudioProductions ) with Lee Recording Guitars and Ric Fierabracci playing Bass. (www.ricfierabracci.com). Lee is a long time friend who produced my first album and Ric is a new friend I met through Lee. (These guys are amazing musicians and have long credits to their names.)

Vocals, some acoustic guitar (If I can find my metronome) and some keyboards will be recorded at Brad Gaddy’s Studio in Ardmore, OK. https://www.facebook.com/OneTruthStudio. Brad will be engineering the project and we will be co-producing it with me. We will then send it out for mastering as is the custom.

Can’t wait for you to hear it and hopefully be encouraged by it. The video demos are posted on my site and have received favorable response so far.

Currently we are finishing up Rock of My Salvation and are starting the next song soon.

Adore
Words and Music by David Delgado
(C) 2001 by David Delgado
All Rights Reserved

You were there when the heavens came to being
You were there when the ocean found their tide
You were there when the light became worth seeing
Still you whisper my name and I wonder why

Adore You my king
With all the angels sing
Worthy worthy worthy
Worthy are you

Adore You my lord
I live to know you more
My savior, My friend
I adore

You were there when the wise were given their wisdom
You are there when the foolish waste their lives
You are there when when I sin Lord, with my pardon
Cause, You were there on the cross and I wonder why

In all my doubt and unbelief
when I’d rather have other things
You do not fight, you do not scream
You turn around wait for me

As if my life were better spent
and I could free myself from being bent
Nothing higher to adore
You are what I’m living for
