Worship in the Midst of Tragedy

If our theology of worship does not extend to the times of deepest sorrow we are indeed shallow in our attempts.
The same songs that are to be sung in the time of joy, are still true in times of sorrow, however this makes me aware that
at any given time while I am experiencing joy, the worshiper right next to me may be experiencing sorrow.
As worshipers and especially as worship leaders, we need to be aware of the varied emotions that our congregation
endures. That is not to say that we should 'cater' to our emotions, truth is truth, it just means out of love for our brothers
and sisters that are hurting, be sensitive to what God may be doing in peoples lives in the midst of their sorrow and their joy - David Delgado
